This was a beast to make, but I loved every moment! Well, okay, mostly loved every minute! I did have some moments where I just had to put it aside and work other projects, especially around Christmastime when I was trying to finish up some gifts! When I called this a beast, I meant that it’s HUGE, but it was not as difficult as you might think. The pattern was created by a woman named Tinna, and she made this so easy to follow! I have several of her patterns, and look forward to creating more things with her lovely patterns.
October 21, 2019 A good start. Working on this between other projects. I’m in love with this design! The beginning of a love hate relationship with this blanket.First I love it… then I hate it for the intricacy, then I love it again because it truly is a work of art!November 5, 2019 Progress… I’d be done by now if I didn’t have other projects I’m working on as well! LOL That’s alright, it’ll get finished eventually! It’s looking lovely!February 14, 2020 It’s been awhile since I updated about this blanket. Still working on this beast! I just love it! Wish I had more time to work on it, but alas… I have had a lot of other smaller projects I needed to get done. Look how its growing! Won’t be long now until it’s finished!March 23, 2020 Finally getting the edges ready to add a nice, simple, double border. Can’t wait to get this completed!
